One of the most iconic titles of the great classical tradition
The Sleeping Beauty ballet is an impressive stage work with three grand palace parties: Princess Aurora's christening, 16th birthday and wedding, plus the beautiful sleeping act. It premiered in St. Petersburg in 1890.

The evil witch Carabos predicts that the Princess will prick herself and die, but the Lilac Fairy changes the harsh punishment of death into that of a dream. 100 years later, Princess Aurora is awakened by Prince Desiree's kiss. At their wedding, alongside the Kings, the courtiers and the Fairies, we will see the most famous characters from Charles Perrault's tales: Cinderella and the Prince, Puss in Boots and his Cat, Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf, the Bluebird and Princess Florina, Tom Thumb and the protagonists dance their famous Pas de Deux.

With an impressive set design by Evgeny Gurenko and world-renowned dancers, the International Classical Ballet will bring to Spain during the coming Christmas the delicacy of Swan Lake, the fantastic Christmas tale of The Nutcracker and the sweet Sleeping Beauty, with the wonderful music of P. Tchaikovsky.

The International Classical Ballet, directed by Andrey Sharaev and in collaboration with the Royal Czech Ballet and Ballet of Milan, is a new production by Tatiana Solovieva Producciones, a company that has been sharing top-quality shows with Spain for 30 years, with the greatest respect and care for details. Its productions have been receiving awards for 30 years, including the Best Dance Show Award in 2013, 2015 and 2018 from the Teatro de Rojas in Toledo and the Best Dance Show Award in Vigo 2008, chosen by popular vote.
