What is FEINDEF?

The Spanish Defense and Security Trade Fair (FEINDEF) is the leading event in Spain for the Defense and Security industry, serving as a must-attend meeting point for all industry stakeholders. It is attended by 100 foreign delegations, more than 400 exhibitors from 20 countries, 40,000 m2 of exhibition space, 20% of which is international, 20,000 professional visitors, and 228 accredited journalists.

FEINDEF is being presented at a key moment for a Europe seeking the necessary common strategic autonomy that defends our interests and values ​​and guarantees our future. Recent developments have led to the emergence of this new Europe of Defense with the aim of strengthening our industrial and technological base to achieve this strategic autonomy.

This fair represents an opportunity to access the new European defense market, strengthening the implementation of initiatives in the areas of collaborative research, capability development, boosting defense investment, and the creation of the Single European Defense Market.

Support from Public and Private Institutions

The Spanish International Defense and Security Fair, FEINDEF, organized by the FEINDEF Foundation, is the only defense and security fair in Spain with institutional support from the Ministry of Defense. It also receives support from public and private institutions, including:

• The European Union.

• The Ministry of the Interior, which supports the event's security vision and includes the participation of the Civil Guard, the National Police Corps, and Civil Protection.

• The Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism: supported by its participation in international meetings, conferences, and marketing activities, in addition to visits to the fair by its officials and staff.

• The Ministry of Science and Innovation, actively collaborating and participating in the program of activities and visits by officials.

• Likewise, the Ministries of Universities, Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, and organizations and entities such as CDTI, ICEX, and INTA have joined FEINDEF 23.
