Through her background in the history of art she has found an affinity for figurative and portrait paintings and drawings, as well as the representation of nature. She feels the combination of both is represented too little and it is what is needed most in today's world. She works to forge the relation between humans and nature, creating a dreamworld where the two come together. She appreciates of the beauty of women's faces and bodies, her goal to move the gaze towards the feminine sensuality. The use of gold and silver leaf represents the timelessness of the subject, and the reflection of the material makes the spectator part of the scene, so creating a space for contemplation.
