The Valencian Community Foundation for Strategic Promotion, Development and Urban Innovation of the Valencia City Council and the Valencia Public Health Centre launched the project ‘Receta Cultura, del centro de salud al museo’ (Culture Recipe, from the health centre to the museum), an initiative to improve the emotional well-being and quality of life of those people who suffer from unwanted loneliness or have problems derived from physical inactivity. In collaboration with the Museum of Natural Sciences, the Museum of History of Valencia, the Faller Museum of Valencia, the Centre for Contemporary Culture of Carmen, the National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts "González Martí" and the Valencian Museum of Ethnology.
The results of this pilot will be presented at the event organised for January 2025, which consists of the medical prescription of guided visits to the aforementioned museums in groups, since one of the objectives of the project is precisely to promote social relations.
The Miguel Servet, Azucena, Serreria I, República Argentina, Salvador Pau-CA Chile and Font de Sant Lluís health centres have participated in this project.
