After its premiere at the Flamenco Biennial of Seville, it returns to the Teatro Távora of Seville "QUEJÍO".Forty-five years ago that from our throats we came a hoarse, hurt, aggressive cry; and from our feet, blows of old, distant and distant flamenco of which the dictatorship promoted in splendid festivals, tablaos and theaters to have fun. In that dramatic study about cantes and dances from our Andalusia, which we call QUEJÍO, we incorporate in sound expressions, the pain of an entire village: the peasant struggle of which Blas Infante spoke, the dramatic silence of emigration, the scars that cause in the soul the fear, the closed mouths of the popular medium, and the Andalusia crushed by the folkloric image that covered hunger, illiteracy and the easy joke of its harsh reality.
