Born in November 1980, Vanesa Martín Mata is a composer, singer and guitarist who, based on effort and tenacity, has managed to open a gap in the state music scene closest to pop sound. Born in Malaga, her passion for music began when she was only five years old, when her father gave her a guitar. Although at the age of 17 she was already performing in numerous venues in her city and on local television, it was in 2003 when she really began to forge a career playing in the capital. In 2006 she finally published her first studio album, 'Agua', with the music company EMI Music Spain and produced by Dj Carlos Jean. Since then, she has released three more studio albums and has sold thousands of copies in Spain and Latin America. She has collaborated with great names in music, such as Malú, Alejandro Sanz, India Martínez, Pablo Alborán, Sergio Dalma, David DeMaría, Chenoa and Diana Navarro, among others.
