Description
It is the song that is in each current playlist. Your weekly discovery and the obligatory song of each day. Born in Madrid but based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Pedro Domínguez Quevedo (known as Quevedo) is the new musical phenomenon of the moment. He was born in 2001 but already has more than 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify, increasingly consolidating him as one of the fundamental pillars of hip-hop and Latin rhythms.
Many people began to know him after the success of his Cayó La Noche (remix), performed together with great artists of the genre such as Abhir Hathi, Bejo, Cruz Cafuné, EL IMA, Juseph and La Pantera. A song with almost 100 million listeners, and that does nothing but rise. However, already in 2020 he began making music with his first single En Reformas. And by 2021, songs like Wrong Approach, Don't Tell Me Anything or Disaster already had millions of listeners each.
But it is not for less. Because his melodies are the kind of sounds that inevitably become hymns. And that has already been verified by some of the artists with whom he has collaborated, such as Duki and De La Ghetto in Si Quieren Frontear; Juseph in Little Girl; or Bluefire in Zero Response; among many others.
And not only those, but songs like Ahora y Siempre, Universitaria, Piel de Cordero or Nonstop are the ones that currently dominate the headphones of people not only from Spain, but from all over the world. Because despite the fact that he has come early, Quevedo has arrived to last. And that shows us with each new song that he presents.
