Maria Becerra has more than 24 million monthly listeners on Spotify, more than 5 million subscribers on her official YouTube channel, and has accumulated more than 12 billion views across all her music videos.
This 2024, the artist performed at the New Year's celebration in Times Square in front of more than 50,000 people. In February, she was invited as a jury member at the Viña del Mar Festival and performed as the closing show of the most important Spanish-speaking event. In March, she released "Primer Aviso" with Ivy Queen, which definitively opened the doors for her in countries such as Puerto Rico and US listeners.
On March 22 and 23, Maria made history in Argentine music by becoming the first female artist to perform at the legendary River Plate stadium, with two sold-out shows in record time in front of more than 130,000 people. This milestone kicked off her “#Tour24,” the biggest tour of her career, which will tour more than 50 venues across Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
In April, she performed at the Queens & Kings League final in Madrid, where she performed her hit “Corazón Vacío” and shared exclusively: “Imán,” a single that will be part of her next album, and a fragment of her participation in the remix of “Spicy Margarita” with Michael Bublé and Jason Derulo. In addition, she traveled to Los Angeles to debut on the stage of the Coachella Festival, being invited by J Balvin to perform his hit song “Qué Más Pues?”.
In May, she released “Imán,” a pop statement influenced by the distinctive sound of Stockholm, recorded at MXM Studios with Richard Liohn and his producer Xross. In July, she collaborated with the iconic Gloria Trevi on “Borracha,” and in September she released “Agora,” a ballad that fuses Spanish, Portuguese, and English with bossa nova influences.
In 2023, she released “TE CURA,” composed exclusively for FAST X (the tenth installment of the Fast and Furious saga). In June, “Corazón Vacío” became a hit that demonstrated Maria’s artistic versatility and her ability to establish emotional connections with her followers through music. The song accumulated more than 513 million combined streams and was awarded the “Best Global Latin Music Video” award at the LOS40 Music Awards 2023. She received four nominations for the 2023 Latin Grammys, and during the ceremony she performed a medley of her most popular songs.
Her album “LA NENA DE ARGENTINA” (2022), includes 13 solo tracks, and her single “AUTOMÁTICO” has surpassed 400 million views. That year, Maria was honored at multiple ceremonies, including LOS40 Music Awards, Premios Juventud, Premios Lo Nuestro, and Latin American Music Awards, consolidating her place as one of the most important artists of the moment.
