Description
Lola Indigo gives its name to the female band that is sweeping the urban music scene nationwide. Led by vocalist Mimi Doblas, the band is made up of dancers Mónica Peña, Saydi Lubanzadio, Laura Ruiz and Claudia Riera. As an urban artist, she has established herself in a style that fuses different musical genres such as pop, dance, trap, funk and reggaeton.
The singer and dancer Miriam Doblas Muñoz is the main face of the group. And although she was born in Madrid in 1992, the artist considers herself to be from the town of Huétor Tájar in Granada, where she was raised from a very young age. She was a dance teacher and participated in some musicals. As a dancer, she worked alongside artists such as Chris Brown, Miguel Bosé, and Enrique Iglesias.
In 2010 she participated in the Fama Revolution contest and seven years later she appeared in the Operación Triunfo talent contest, where she launched her musical career. Her first single "Ya no quiero ná" became a double platinum record in December 2018 and her video clip already has more than 78 million views on YouTube.
The release of her first album "Akelarre", published in 2019, has made her one of the best-known artists on the country's urban music scene.
During that same year, the singer has been the winner of different musical awards. In 2019 she was awarded as revelation artist of the year by Los40 Music Awards and as artist of the year by the MTV Europe Music Awards.
