There are intangibles that go beyond the number of posters you have headlined, the number of records sold or the number of followers on social networks, all objective data that, by the way, confirm the relevance of Carolina Durante as the most important group of her generation.

But we were talking about intangibles, about those issues that in times of data tyranny turn an artist or a band into a phenomenon whose importance goes beyond the sum of its numbers. We were talking about Carolina Durante.

Carolina Durante has had to swim against the current since one day, leaving a Los Punsetes gig, she decided to form a band. And they did: they divided up the roles of the group and the next day they went to buy the instruments, guitar, bass, drums… All this in a context in which urban and Latin music began to take over the charts and become a global soundtrack that you can't escape from the moment you set foot on the street…

Perhaps that decision to face their own destiny as a band and, at the same time, the group's ability to keep the illusion of the first day intact are the differential factors that have made Carolina the most important band of their generation and largely responsible for a resurgence of rock and guitar pop.

Carolina Durante is a supergroup, the only one in the world that is not made up of illustrious members of other relevant formations. The band would not be understood without Diego's charismatic voice, without his ability to touch the heartstrings with lyrics halfway between existential uneasiness and humor. But, of course, the group would not exist as such without Mario's punk-pop spirit on guitar, Martín's powerful sobriety on bass or Juan's talent and eccentricity when he hits the drums. Each and every one of the four elements that make up the group are as essential when it comes to shaping Carolina Durante's sound as her unique personality.

With these elements and occasional external help (collaborations with Amaia, Jota Planetas or Santiago Motorizado) the band has developed a career that moves between massive success and the cult that their passionate group of fans professes to them. These are the intangibles that we talked about at the beginning of these lines, as is the idea that the best is yet to come...
