Description

Alavedra are the Swiss Army knife of pop: a multitude of tools/songs that you don't really know what to use them for, but in the end one of them will get you out of a tight spot at some point. You've had them in your pocket for a long time until suddenly you hear a song that manages to stimulate your brain and you surprise yourself saying 'damn, it was worth carrying this around all this time' or, in other words, 'damn, it was worth listening to them'.

The former Sonido Carmel band is going through its maturity stage, like all the groups that overcome the 5-year crisis, and they are close to becoming the group that abandons the 'emerging' label the latest in history.

Xiri, Dani, Ret and Genís continue their crusade against overexertion, sentimental hyperbole and rock conventions and, after playing at festivals such as Primavera Sound or Canela Party, they are considering new challenges such as playing in the Vatican Square, making the Gimnàstic de Tarragona anthem or collaborating with Danny Ocean.
