House of the Seven Chimneys
Monument
The House of the Seven Chimneys is located at number 1 of the Plaza del Rey and was built between 1574 and 1577. Its portico with columns stands out on the outside. A series of legends circulate around the House, such as that it was designed by the supposed lover of Felipe II, Elena, who, after dying from her, walked her ghost among the chimneys. Its portico with columns stands out on the outside. Currently, it belongs to the Ministry of Education and Culture. The Casa de las Chimeneas was declared a Historic-Artistic Monument in 1948.
