Award-winning comedian, writer, presenter and actress Katherine Ryan is at the top of her game, and Battleaxe brings her back to the stage after the sold-out international smash hit that was Missus, her 2022 tour.
In addition to her regular appearances on all the major British comedy shows, her next project, a flagship Katherine comedy travel show with Joe Wilkinson, will air later this year. In 2023, she starred in the comedy series, Romantic Getaway with Romesh Ranganathan, as well as the special The Lionesses: A League of Their Own with Jill Scott and Maisie Adam. She also surprised the entire United Kingdom with her performance in The Masked Singer as the much-loved Pigeon.
In 2022, Katherine hosted her own six-part flagship series for Amazon Prime: Backstage with Katherine Ryan. The latest comedy special, Missus, aired at the end of 2022 to great success. Her Netflix debut The Duchess, which she wrote, produced and starred in, shot to the top of the UK Netflix chart upon its release. She was also the second UK-based comic to score a Netflix Global comedy special after Jimmy Carr, and the first female (2017's In Trouble).
