Description
Maestrissimo is an “allegro e molto vivace” show halfway between the chamber concert, the satirical comedy and the period portrait, in which the adventures and misadventures of a string quartet are shown, in the purest Yllana style. in an indeterminate period between the 17th and 18th centuries (Baroque and Neoclassicism).
A fill-in musician, a second-in-command without surnames but with enormous talent, will try to progress through the ranks and reach the title of maestrissimo. Will her talent and his genius be enough to find a place in such a hierarchical world? Will he get the prestige he rightfully deserves?
In the same vein as Pagagnini, but with its own entity, Maestrissimo will delight viewers with a very careful aesthetic and hilarious characters, addressing topics such as ethics, creation, originality and the value of art in society, at the same time that reviews peak moments of classical music.
