Description
Bowie Taken by Duffy is a groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the work of iconic British maverick photographer Brian Duffy alongside David Bowie, one of the most talented and influential musicians in popular music history. This is a retrospective of the legendary photo sessions that united the photographer and the singer.
Over 150 objects from the Duffy Archive with music, video clips, photos, large-format Chromaluxe prints and never-before-seen video interviews. During the period known as Bowie's golden years, they worked together on five photo shoots and three album covers. At this time they broke many visual and identity barriers. In fact, in 1973, they created a cultural icon with the album cover 'Aladdin Sane'.
Vintage copies, original objects from the Duffy Archive and never-before-seen video interviews with Bowie's collaborators are some of the experiences that you will be able to see in this exhibition. An authentic immersion bath that shows in detail the creative process of two extraordinary artists.
