Danko Jones' Good Times Tour, accompanied by the British Los Pepes, will arrive in our country in October.
The Toronto hard rock band named after its eloquent leader released their eleventh studio album, “Electric Sounds” in 2023. The significant title not only sums up the approach of the eleven new cuts presented here, but the album also celebrates the 25th anniversary of this uncompromising band. A quarter of a century without giving importance to trends and fashions, very much in the glorious tradition of Official Motörhead and AC/DC.
Danko Jones is something of a trademark, his style and sound are almost immediately recognizable, “we do our thing, no matter what!” says Danko. Some songs sound like garage rock, others like punk, some have elements of classic rock. “Take it or leave it!” Danko says. This great combination has helped the band attract a huge cult following throughout their entire career, especially in Europe.
Danko Jones has played on six of the seven continents over the past 25 years, they have rocked all the famous festivals, playing the tunes we all love. The man himself has made friends with so many musicians from all kinds of different genres, he still can't believe he had a drink (or more?) with Lemmy and talked intensely with Billy F Gibbons from ZZ Top. In addition, Danko likes to write for magazines, has published a book (with contribution from Duff McKagan) and is famous for his popular podcasts.
