María Guadalupe Araújo Yong is a Mexican composer and singer-songwriter artistically known as Ana Gabriel or La Diva de América.

The genres that her style encompasses are Latin pop, ballads and rancheras. In her long career, she has collaborated with great artists, such as Plácido Domingo, José Luis Perales or Armandomando Manzanero.

Among her most famous songs are Simply friends, Who like you, Luna or It's too late. Her relationship with music began when she was only nine years old. At first, she focused her career on composition, but years later she decided to make herself known as a singer. Since she began her activity in 1974 she has published more than thirty albums, with the record companies Sony Music, EMI Music and AG Records.

The last of them was published in 2015 and is entitled My gift, my number one.
