Above is the 2nd Fira de la sobrassada d'Eivissa organized by Sant Josep de sa Talaia and dedicated to one of the main local products of the island.
It's Matances time and the "Fira de la Sobrassada" arrives, the first fair dedicated to the sobrassada of Eivissa organized by the City Council of Sant Josep de sa Talaia.
Sobrassada is one of our products most related to our culture and tradition, and sense it and the slaughter of pork is not possible to understand our gastronomy.
During the fair, in addition to music and ambient festival, there will also be a sobrassada making workshop under the Carn&Coop open to the public and attendees will be able to import a sobrassada prepared by the mates. The gastronomic event will complete with a culinary demonstration at base of sobrassada by the boss Marga Orell and tapes and vins on the cassettes.
